Anastasiia Falileieva - Ukrainian animation director and one of the few remaining stop-motion professionals in Ukraine. Born in 2000 in Kremenchuk, studied stop-motion animation and directing at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, where was trained by puppeteer and stop-motion animator Oleh Pedan.
Falileieva has directed several successful animated shorts, including Until It Turns Black (2019), Tiger Is Strolling Around (2020), Papier-mâché (2021). Her 2024 animated documentary I Died in Irpin—became a festival hit worldwide and brought young director to spotlight of international industry.
In addition to her filmmaking, Falileieva is the founder of Plastic Bag Studio and has contributed to various animation projects and commercial works.
